Finding myself a widow with three children has been the place we avoid imagining. Reality hits hard enough when it happens, so no point speculating too much beforehand, except to make sure life insurance is available, (it was voided), a degree in something specific is helpful to support your family (it has been) and a support network is established around you (um, bad topic).
I’m like a lot of widows out there, and you’re fortunate perhaps to follow the accounts that echo so many women and men too, who circumnavigate the globe three or more times before they drop out of limbo and back to a place they call home.
